Rapid Release Therapy Pasadena
Rapid Release Therapy (RRT) is targeted high-speed vibration that focuses on the relief of soft tissue related conditions affecting muscles, nerves, tendon, ligaments, and fascia. This patented high-frequency vibration therapy frees critical structures like muscles and nerves from adhesions/scar tissue, resulting in immediate pain relief and restoration of range of motion in short 2-5 minute session. 6 to 12 treatment sessions are recommended protocols for most conditions to gain meaningful and long lasting results.
The RRT is a short stroke (2.5 mm) high-speed vibration therapy device as opposed to the low-speed hammering devices most practitioners are used to. The short stroke along with the high-speed oscillations per second allows the RRT to be used anywhere on the body, even over bony prominences such as the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, wrist, and face for lasting results.
Beyond the treatment of soft tissue related conditions, and because of the deep penetration of the compression waves generated by the RRT, athletes at all levels, including Olympians use RRT for both pre-competition warm-ups and post-competition enhanced muscle recovery. Soft tissue disorders are usually a result of overuse, injury or surgery.

Why Use RRT?
Scar tissue forms in the body as a temporary patching mechanism for pain caused by surgery, trauma or repetitive stress. This scar tissue is made from collagen just like our skin but without the blood supply, it dies, dries out, constricts and becomes brittle. Scar tissue fastened to tissues not normally connected is called an adhesion. Adhesions can spread, entrapping nerves, causing pain and numbness or limiting the range of motion. Undiagnosed pain and restricted mobility are likely to be caused by these adhesions. Rapid Release Therapy is focused on relief of soft tissue problems caused by scar tissue adhesions.
